Marcia Lynn Boyajian (1963, St. Mary’s, Georgia) grew up in the small southeast town and currently lives in Santa Clara, California, which she shares with her loving husband, Eric, two dogs, Ziggy, a feisty Yorkie, and Tango, a sweet, shy dog adopted from a rescue in San Francisco. There is also a pond full of goldfish and two red-ear sliders, Jojo and Koopa.

Over the course of her life, Boyajian has driven across North America eight times, and lived in seven states from Georgia to Hawaii and Illinois to California, traveled to seventeen countries, so her life has largely been defined by movement and the constant reshaping of ideas of culture and home.

She taught math, science, and art for a juvenile delinquent program in Florida, and art workshops in Georgia, Florida, Hawaii, Washington, and California. Additionally, Boyajian is a Court Appointed Child Advocate (CASA) in Santa Clara County, California.

As an artist, Boyajian has exhibited her work at several state fairs in Hawaii, Washington, and California.
